Maiara Walsh will liven up the cast of The Vampire Diaries in at least one episode of the show’s second season, reports TV Guide.

Maiara, who starred in Cory in the House and plays the lead mean girl in Mean Girls 2, will play a party girl who “sets her eyes on Jeremy,” played by Steven R. McQueen.  Her episode will air October 7th.

Like his iCarly castmate Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress pops up on one of this Saturday’s episodes of The Penguins of Madagascar on Nickelodeon.  Unlike Jerry, who played a cockroach, Nathan actually gets to be human:

Add one more movie to Zac Efron’s crowded list of upcoming films.  Warner Bros. has hired a writer for Art of the Steal, a con-artist movie that Zac is attached to and hopes to shoot sometime next year.

The movie, based on a true magazine article, would cast Zac as a “con man who plans and executes a series of elaborate heists, all while leading a double life as an upstanding citizen,” according to Variety.

Immediately next up for Zac, however, is The Lucky One, an adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel.

Pretty Little Liars‘ pretty little Lucy Hale sheds the high school look in favor of a grown-up, classy photo shoot in the latest issue of Savvy magazine.

In her interview, the 21-year-old actress opens up about her temporarily nonexistent love life, saying:

It’s not that I don’t want a boyfriend, but I just haven’t found the right one yet. And right now, I’m just focusing on myself and the show. I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that I’m an actress and get to do this everyday.

The Suite Life on Deck’s Brenda Song jumps headfirst into the world of dramatic acting this fall in The Social Network, the upcoming movie about the creation of Facebook.  JustJaredJr. compiled a handful of stills of Brenda from the movie’s trailers; check them out:

In the movie, Brenda plays Christy, the girlfriend of Andrew Garfield’s character.  It’s a pretty big part, so congrats to her!

Justin Bieber’s star-studded, sold-out concert last night at Madison Square Garden proved at least one thing: he’s not sick anymore.

Before the concert, Justin revealed he wasn’t totally better yet, saying on Twitter:

Ok the doctor said we aren’t 100 percent but we are ready to ROcK!! Been cleared. MSG let’s do this!!! Let’s fill the streets of NYC!

rehearsals tonight were incredible…got off to a rocky start because wasnt feeling right but then after lunch kicked in. 2morrow at MSG!!

Universal Orlando’s Harry Potter theme park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, might be in for an upgrade.  Mugglenet reports of a rumor going around that the park will expand into the neighboring Lost Continent park, by as early as 2012:

Reader Kelsey tells us she was on a tour of the park the other day when a Universal guide told her that within the next two or three years The Wizarding World would expand and replace The Lost Continent. … This is in line with a number of strong rumors we’ve heard that say Universal has an agreement with Warner Brothers insisting on new additions to The Wizarding World in two to three years.

In other words, if you were pumped to visit Hogwarts for yourself, but were worried about the long lines, you may want to just wait a couple years.

Here’s the question of 2010: who has better hair – the Jonas Brothers or Justin Bieber? While fans across the nation will probably sound off with definite answers about the thick dark coif versus the smooth swooped chop, it was a bit of a difficult question to answer for some celebs.
