Apparently Ian Somerhalder is quite the animal lover!
“The Vampire Diaries” star is showing his softer side and visiting Lafayette, Louisiana next month where he will be participating in the Best Friends Animal Society’s Annual “Strut Your Mutt” event.
Ian and accompanying “Dog Pack” will be donating one hundred percent of their proceeds to Ian’s newest project, the Ian Somerholder Animal Sanctuary, which strives to provide a safe haven for animals that have been neglected, mistreated, abused, and misunderstood. The event is planned for September 22nd at 9:00am and the Ian Somerholder Foundation is looking to raise $150,000!

It is amazing what he is doing for the animals!! how many celebrities are willing to do something so selfless??
Bravo to him, this makes me love him even more!!
