Yesterday a script purporting to be the official screenplay for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was leaked online. No one was quite sure whether it was legit, but today it turns out it was indeed an early draft of the movie (not the version that was shot, but presumably pretty close).
What’s more, apparently it was Jackson Rathbone’s copy that was leaked, although no one knows how — could be anything from a careless friend to an obsessed fan digging it out of Jackson’s garbage.
So will this cause problems for anybody? Luckily, no. According to E! Online, “no one’s too worried about it” at Summit Entertainment. And they shouldn’t be — everybody who’s read the book already knows the story, and it’s not like Eclipse isn’t going to make zillions of dollars anyway, script leak or not.
