Hello Twilight lovers! Now, of course we’re all very excited that New Moon finally hit theaters, but despite all that happiness, there is a little bit of sadness. It’s been a few months and most fans have recovered from the firing of Rachelle Lefevre from the role of Victoria. Even so, fans and insiders wondered if she would make an appearance at the New Moon premiere.
She didn’t.
Why? Rachelle tweeted out to all of her fans early on premiere day that her newly adopted dog was in the hospital and that she didn’t know what would happen. She wrote “I wonder if you can die from a broken heart…” So sad. The former Victoria later tweeted out to her fans at the premiere that she was still at the hospital with her pup.
So hand out some good wishes for Rachelle too–we’ve got a comments section waiting for you.

I tottaly understand her wanting to be there with her dog! That is so sweet!!!! I would totally skip if I could, no matter if was a family member or an animal!
And yes, I’m still tottaly and completely bummed that Rachelle got the boot! She was the perfect Victoria! Absolutly the best! I wish all the luck to Bryce Dallas Howard but I’ll miss Rachelle in Eclipse.
