On Saturday night, the website Acting-Auditions posted the following Twilight announcement:
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn production has been greenlit and I now have the latest information. The fourth saga in the Twilight Series is going back to its roots and will be filmed in Portland, Oregon. Principal photography will not begin until September, 2010. The film’s director has yet to be announced.
After a few other sites reported on it, Summit Entertainment jumped on the news and claimed it was categorically untrue, and it made sense — the site doesn’t exactly seem like a source for great information.
But wait! The guy who runs the site still insists the story has merit, saying that he read the news in Production Weekly (an obscure film production resource) and of course Summit would deny it, because they always wait to make official announcements about anything.
So believe what you will. But if the story turns out to have any merit, it sounds like there might only be one Breaking Dawn movie — not two, like was rumored before. My guess is that it’ll all be cleared up when a new director is announced, which I bet will happen before New Moon is released.10Post a Comment
