Has Breaking Dawn Been Greenlit?

October 13, 2009

edward-bella-running-new-moonOn Saturday night, the website Acting-Auditions posted the following Twilight announcement:

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn production has been greenlit and I now have the latest information. The fourth saga in the Twilight Series is going back to its roots and will be filmed in Portland, Oregon. Principal photography will not begin until September, 2010. The film’s director has yet to be announced.

After a few other sites reported on it, Summit Entertainment jumped on the news and claimed it was categorically untrue, and it made sense — the site doesn’t exactly seem like a source for great information.

But wait!  The guy who runs the site still insists the story has merit, saying that he read the news in Production Weekly (an obscure film production resource) and of course Summit would deny it, because they always wait to make official announcements about anything.

So believe what you will.  But if the story turns out to have any merit, it sounds like there might only be one Breaking Dawn movie — not two, like was rumored before.  My guess is that it’ll all be cleared up when a new director is announced, which I bet will happen before New Moon is released.

One thing I want to touch upon is that weightloss program fast can be achieved by the proper diet and exercise. Someone’s size not only affects appearance, but also the general quality of life. Self-esteem, depressive disorders, health risks, plus physical abilities are influenced in an increase in weight. It is possible to make everything right and at the same time having a gain. If this happens, a medical problem may be the root cause. While a lot of food and never enough work out are usually the culprit, common health conditions and trusted prescriptions can certainly greatly add to size. Thanks alot : ) for your post here gywl55.

I really don’t see why this book needs to be split at all. It’s a large book, sure, but it’s not like a lot /happens/ within those pages. The gist of the ‘plot’ in BD is that Bella gets married, gets pregnant, fights with everyone about having her mutant baby, gives birth, gets changed. And then there’s about two-hundred pages of prep for a battle that never happens. There’s no need for it to be split.

And, I personally hope it’s either not made at all, or the screen-play is altered /dramatically/ so that everyone else doesn’t get shafted completely in way of Bella and Edward’s ‘happily ever after’. I’d be happy if they just re-wrote Jacob’s ending. It was such a cop-out, really cheap, and downright creepy. Maybe Rob or Kristen will just not sign on since it’s such a weird book to begin with.

I totally agree that if it is one movie it will suck. As to where it should cut off from the first movie, I agree with Star Reid, right after she gives birth and he injects the venom into her and starts the burning.

im looking forward to breaking dawn being two movies. that was one hugh book and its going to need two movies to do it justice. the only thing is the cutting point. i dont know what would be a good spot to cut one movie off and continue with the other.

i think it should leave off right after bella gives birth to renesmee (so we get a peek ) lol and edwards saves bella by injecting his venom into her heart and biteing her all over and her feeling the burning (since she has her eye s closed & is on the table after this it would be a good fade to black momemt and just leave her voice at the end talking about the burning ) . then the second will pick up right there and then reveil the vamp bella and renesmee and go through the hole rest of it with the gathering of all the other vamps , the training , and the volturi comeing to judge . that would be the way i d want to see it .
