I thought the makeup on Twilight was not very good, so im very pleased with the new look on the characters. Check out the photo below.

I agree with pretty much everyone on here. In Twilight, Edward is beautiful just as he is described in the book. When New Moon came out, I was seriously disappointed. He now looks much older than 17, his eyebrows are untamed and his hair isn’t as cool. And wow, those contacts and super white makeup just make him looks unrealistic. What happened to the Twilight makeup artist and costume designer??? There must be some way we can get this message to the Breaking Dawn producers. Surely they can return Eward to his original look for the last 2 movies???

Edward=100% TWILIGHT they killed it in New Moon
Jacob=So much better in New Moon its ridiculous
Alice= Both
Rosalie= Twlilight

Carlisle= Definitely Twilight he’s not supposed to look old just because he adopted them in a sense doesnt mean he’s really old when he turned into a vampire he’s just the head of the family/clan with more experience than the rest so i dont see why they made him look older and in a way more chubby in New Moon.

I think the make up in twilight was waaaay better…it gave it that vampire feeling cause of there pailness…n I didn’t like how its different 4RM the book…n what’s up wit Bella wearing the same clothes on the part where it says..Sep.Oct.Nov.Dec…where she’s sitting in her room..I thought it was wack..

I think the makeup in Twilight is so much better than New Moon. The vampires can’t pass as human in New Moon. It is just way too exagerated in New Moon.

edward is not as attractive in new moon and eclipse. he’s supposed to be 17 but they’ve got him looking like he’s in his mid 20’s. his face color was weird in italy. his eyebrows are too big and bushy and his hair is too grown out. it makes his head look very big. it’s not as cool as it was in twilight. it’s very sad. i still follow the story and will watch the movies but i don’t swoon for edward the same anymore.

The makeup in New Moon was far too harsh for my liking. Twlight’s makeup especially Edward’s was far more subtle and more believable. New Moon’s makeup and now Ecilpse’s looks yet again to have gone far too white. Whilst I agree that the New Moon’s whole look was more polished for me Edward especially was to white.

Twilight makeup soooooooo much better than new moon. New moon was freaky , overdone . the new contacts and wigs were absolutely terrible – made it so diffiult to believe that the vampires were meant to a) pass off as humans and b) be so incredibly attractive – they just look like freaks. Both bella and edward looked far better in twilight . In fact, having just watched both again on DVD – I have come full circle and think twilight is a superior movie and much better adaptation of the book.

Everyone sees and likes something different – but I just want to say Victoria is so stunning and able to pull off either look in film or the real world!
Also, I much prefered both Bella and Edward in Twilight. I understand that the director was adjusting their looks according to the changes in their characters but there was no need. They were so appropriate in the first film and the idea of changing something that works bothers me!
Jacob went from boy to man – so he had to change and Alice also went thru a maturing process so I understand the necessary changes in her look also.
Rosalie and Jasper were let down by their terrible wigs – which is so unfortunate as they are two attractive people who were not done justice!
Everyone else looked much the same to me – but overall more polished yet manacing enough in Twilight as opposed to New Moon!!
