We’ve already seen the Eclipse engagement ring, but now we’ve got all of the details behind the diamond design. It was a crazy process undertaken just for the sake of having the perfect engagement ring for Edward to give to Bella. It’s being said that Eclipse’s propmaster researched Victorian-era jewelry before requesting four different designers build multiple ring samples. Apparently, the first round of rings just didn’t match the one that author Stephenie Meyer had imagined when writing the series.

i didn’t picture it like that at all, i pictured it a lot smaller, still oval but gold, with little diamonds around it and a bigger one in the middle, but deffinitely not that big. but it is a nice ring, but like someone else commented, how will they also fit a wedding ring on her finger???????

that dosent look like the book describes it it was gold with not the ovel shape

it was gold in the book it looks silver their. The ring looks quiet oval and long as described in the book. maybe a little big but very pretty and fitting to the time it was made in the book.how would you were a wedding ring with it though?.

i think the ring is like wat the book said, but i could of been a bit more old fashioned due to Edward saying that “its old fashioned just like me”

I really thought the ring would be a lot smaller. Totally different than what I thought it would be. but i guess it works. =\

i thought the ring would look older, so not so shinny because it was Edward’s mother’s ring. I also thought the oval part on it would be a little bit smaller. But this is just my opinion.

I imagined it really different, less big and shiny..
