By now, when Twilight stars are asked about Breaking Dawn, we know what they’re going to say: we haven’t read the script, we’re not sure if it’ll be one movie or two, it’ll probably shoot in Vancouver. So MTV took a different tactic in their recent discussion with Kristen Stewart and specifically asked how she imagines the movie will handle Bella’s eventual daughter, Renesmee:
In Stephenie Meyer’s novel, Renesmee’s birth is so graphic that Bella nearly dies but is ultimately converted into a vampire and saved by Edward. While the scene is currently unwritten as far as the “Breaking Dawn” script goes, Kristen is eager to learn how it will translate from book to film.
“I haven’t seen a script, but I’m not alone in really, really wondering how they’re going to handle that,” she said.
As important as the birth scene itself is the baby that is born. Will Renesmee be played by an actual baby or will she be given the CGI treatment? It’s a tricky question that Kristen doesn’t have an easy answer for, but one thing is certain — Renesmee has to be adorable.
“Little Renesmee, she’s got to be cute,” said the actress. “She can’t just be this scary superhuman teeth baby!”
