Today we’re talking about American Idol champ Scotty McCreery. He was crowned the season 10 winner last night, and almost immediately, the internet was buzzing with rumors he and Lauren Alaina are dating! After Ryan Seacrest announced that Scotty had won the whole thing, he and Lauren gave each other a big bear hug—and, although it was hard to tell because of the camera angle, it looked like Lauren planted a kiss on Scotty right afterward! He then took to the mic to express his gratitude—and definitely included Lauren in his speech! He said, “It’s been a year since me and Lauren Alaina tried out now. We’ve been together since day one and we’re going to stay together.”
Scotty then went on to perform his single “This Big,” and made sure to give all of the top 13 contestants a hug. But he definitely paused a little longer during Lauren’s turn, and told her quote, “I love you baby.” She then kissed him a bunch more times on the cheek before the show ended. At the afterparty. ET asked Lauren if she and Scotty were more than friend, and she replied, “He might be my boyfriend…ask him.” But when they asked Scotty, he said he was still single, and that he and Lauren had just gotten really close, but he didn’t know about the more than friends stuff.” So what’s the deal with these two?!

They are so cute together! I’ve seen some interviews and there are definitely sparks from both sides! They are both American idols.

scotty and lauren looks good together.
but, i like it more when they sing duets. their voices blend so well together and whenever they sing their voices reach the crowd. i think that’s also the reason why they ended up as top 2
