The hit musical show Glee was awarded Outstanding Comedy Series at the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday night, and cast members such as Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, and Ryan Murphy were on hand to pick up the trophy.
The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation honors “progressive portrayals of LGBT characters and treatment of relevant issues in TV, film, theater and journalism.”
And as for the show itself, Glee got its best ratings ever with its recent debut after American Idol. It’s a good time to be a fan!
