Are you getting stoked for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards? We are!
New promo videos featuring One Direction and Taylor Swift just premiered, and we love them! 1D’s takes on a more serious/sentimental tone as the boys look on to “their moment.” In contrast, Taylor takes on a fun sketch with host Kevin Hart.
It was just announced that Taylor will be performing a brand new song from her album Red, as well as Green Day and Pink. They join previously announced performers One Direction and Alicia Keys. Mac Miller, Miley Cyrus, the Fierce Five (Gabby Douglas, Jordyn Wieber, Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney and Kyla Ross) and Wiz Khalifa are set to present.
The VMAs take place September 6, 2012.

Yes I’m just as excited as you are! It’s going to be a great line up of artists, I can’t wait to hear Taylor Swift’s new song and see Alicia Keys and Green Day perform. I’m especially excited to see Kevin Hart host the award show, he’s one of my favorite comedians. The VMA’s always give my Dish coworkers and I a lot to talk about. This year I’ll be watching on my Hopper, which I love because it allows me to start watching on my living room TV and continue watching on any TV in the house, right where I left off. I love the convenience of being able to watch my favorite recordings while I get work done.
