Images of Taylor Swift rocking a short brown hairdo have hit the web.  Did the country star chop her signature blonde curls?

Demi Lovato just dyed her hair!  She tweeted the following photo — I think it turned out well:

And it’s the Tiz–Ashley Tisdale, that is–who’s gone back to her original roots…literally. Ash sent out a tweet a few days ago saying “You will never guess what hair color they want me for my new role in Hellcats….” Well A-T didn’t leave us guessing long.

The former HSM-er emerged from her LA salon with dark brown-reddish hair. And it looks amazing. Ashley has said many times that her natural color is brunette.

So what’s with the darker hair?  Make a guess about this interesting new twist in the comments section!

Disney just bought the movie rights to Fallen, a planned four-part young adult novel series.  The first book was just released this month.

So what’s it about?  Well, it sounds kind of familiar: according to the Hollywood Reporter, it “centers on an alienated girl torn between two charismatic young men.”  In fact, the series begins with the girl attending a new high school and becoming enamored with a guy who at first doesn’t want anything to do with her.

Instead of vampires and werewolves, the two “charismatic young men” turn out to be “fallen angels who have battled over her for centuries.”  But the book cover, at right, might as well be a cover for another Twilight book — the woods, the teenage brunette, etc.

So should we call this a ripoff?  Or do you think it’s going to be good?  Or — and this is also totally possible — both?
