Selena Gomez won Best Actress for her role on Wizards of Waverly Place at the 2009 ALMA awards.
The Alma Awards — for “American Latino Media Arts” — were held last night and honor the achievements of Hispanic actors, musicians, and artists.
Among the other winners were Jessica Alba, Penelope Cruz, and David Archuleta.
