Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie won an Emmy award for Outstanding Children’s Program at the Creative Arts Emmy’s, a special ceremony held this weekend in Los Angeles. The “real” Emmys, which will award shows in the bigger categories, will air August 27th.
Ironically, the TV movie beat its own TV show — Wizards of Waverly Place the series, which won last year, was nominated in the same category. No pressure on the upcoming Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie Sequel next year.
