Robsten Goes Shopping!
I know, it sounds pretty mundane, until you start considering the grander implications of such an admission. See, not too long ago, while on a break from shooting Eclipse, Robsten managed to find their way into a Vancouver clothing store called Retro Rock Vintage Clothing.
Naturally, everyone there recognized them, and clamored for pictures with the duo. As did the store’s owner, who probably planned to blow them up life-size and use them in future advertisements. Robsten was very polite about the whole thing and obliged the crowd’s demand for pictures, give credit where credit is due.
But it’s the implications that make this interesting–most of the ladies out there know what the guys have known for years. Guys do not like to shop. Oh, sure, we’ve been known to kill an idle hour or two drooling over power tools or electronics or hunting rifles or other similar “guy stuff”; guys, don’t deny it, you know you’ve been–gasp!–SHOPPING.
There is, however, not much “guy stuff” out at Retro Rock Vintage Clothing in Vancouver. This means, of course, that he’s out doing a fundamentally guy-repellent activity with Kristen, and he’s almost certainly not doing it for the love of vintage clothing. So chances are he’s not in it for the clothes.
Okay, sure, I’m making some assumptions at this point but the take-away is clear, and expressed flawlessly in that last sentence. Though shopping for clothes is something of a necessity, he’s likely not trolling the vintage shops for the clothes.
More ‘Eclipse’ Filming Updates
Earlier this week, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade posted a new photo from the set on TwitPic:

Slade later admitted on Twitter that they were up there to shoot a pretty important scene:
Yes we were shooting Bella and Jacob’s kiss on the mountain, its really a grueling emotional thing to have to shoot over and over.
Apparently there was also a small horde of paparazzi about a half-mile away trying to snap photos:
Really really long paparazzi lenses make everything look terrible, one snuck close to set and was kicked off, another was arrested last week.
Just another week in the life of filming a Twilight movie, I guess…
Robert Pattinson, Taylor Swift, Vanessa Hudgens are ‘Best Dressed’
Robert Pattinson, Vanessa Hudgens, and Taylor Swift all made People magazine‘s list of the best dressed celebrities of the year. They join the likes of Michelle Obama, The Hangover‘s Bradley Cooper, and Kate Winslet.
I guess People is ignoring all those times Robert has looked like a total slob?
Swift was dubbed as having the “Best Sparkle” and Hudgens the “Best Boho Style”. They didn’t give Rob a specific title.
