Miley Cyrus Thinks Zac Efron is Super-Hot

Miley Cyrus, whether you ask her fans, her detractors, or even herself, is not what you’d call a normal teenage girl: she’s a movie, music, and TV star constantly followed around by the paparazzi.  But on the Morning Mashup radio show, Miley admitted she is “normal” about one thing: a huge attraction to Zac Efron.

There’s not many things about me that are, like normal teenage girl. But the one normal teenage girl thing is that I think Zac Efron is the hottest person in the world. I really, really like him. And it’s weird, I’ve kind of talked about it before and been like, it’s weird because he’s my friend…I could call him and be like, whatever.

But I think also the reason that he is so sexy is because he and Vanessa [Hudgens] have been together since the first ‘High School Musical’ and I think that’s really cool. Because Zac could get any girl and all these girls are always like, you know, ‘Zac, Zac, Zac!’ and would do whatever, but he is so loyal and a really good friend.

Taylor Lautner on the Cover of the Rolling Stone

We showed you some of the outtakes of Taylor Lautner’s Rolling Stone photo shoot back in October, and now the issue has finally come out.  Here’s the cover that resulted from all the beach shots:

Not bad at all.  Plus, there’s the added bonus of being able to see his chest even though he has a shirt on.  Thanks, water.

Kellan Lutz: Happy to Play Emmett Cullen for As Long As Possible

Check out the video

Kellan Lutz is making it no secret that he wants to start filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn as quickly as possible — and he totally wouldn’t mind if it was split up into two movies, either.  Here he is at a recent red carpet event:

And really, who can blame him?  Emmett only had, what, three or four lines in New Moon?  I don’t think anybody would be opposed to seeing more of him.

Chris Weitz: Looking Back on New Moon

Entertainment Weekly talked to The Twilight Saga: New Moon director Chris Weitz today for a postmortem on the film’s massive box office success, mixed reviews, and experience in general.  As many of the Twilight actors have said about him, Chris seems very Zen about the entire experience.  Here are three of his answers that stood out in particular:

What was your biggest fear going into [opening] weekend?
I didn’t have any particular fears. The tracking numbers were enough to indicate that I wouldn’t be letting the studio down. But if one could imagine their biggest fears, it would be complete rejection of the movie, by the fans. What I’ve realized over the last week is I won’t necessarily get good reviews for this movie. Having swallowed that, this was made for the fans, and if you don’t get it, then you don’t get it.

You made the movie you wanted to here?
Yes, pretty much. In terms of what I wanted to do with the gloss of the picture, the look of the picture, I’m very satisfied with it. And satisfied to touch back with the crew and the actors and to feel we made it under humane conditions as well. No actors were harmed in the making of this movie.

You’ve been around the world promoting this movie. Have you ever been part of something like this?
Never. It’s like being Ringo Starr. There are the big three and then there’s Ringo. It’s probably what he faced a lot. Hey Ringo, Can I meet Paul? When I meet the fans there’s a lot of enthusiasm for me, if one of the kids is nearby or, if they think I can arrange some tryst.

Justin Bieber Breaks His Foot!

Justin Bieber is not having the greatest week in the world.  Just a few days ago he had to cancel a mall signing when the crowd got too crazy.  And tonight, he literally ran into another problem: he fractured a bone in his foot on stage at a concert.

He went online and updated his Twitter followers what happened.  Here’s the whole story, told over the course of five tweets, organized a little so it’s easier to read:

Just got home from a wild night. I see a lot of you are wondering what happened. Well I had a great show in front of a great crowd and in the last song ONE TIME I tripped over something on stage coming down the ramp and felt my ankle roll in a very bad way. Turns out I fractured my foot and had to finish the song on a broken foot. After I was done I was in such pain I skipped the encore and got off stage and back to see the medics. @taylorswift13 came backstage to see me b4 i went to the hospital because she is awesome! Spent the rest of the night in the hospital getting x-rays and now a cast. Sucks. But don’t worry Manchester, me and @taylorswift13 = the show must go on!!

New Moon Deleted Scenes Revealed!

Yes, New Moon just came out in theaters, so we totally shouldn’t be talking about special features that will appear on the DVD and Blu-Ray releases yet.   But thanks to director Chris Weitz, we are anyway.  In an interview with MTV, Weitz revealed that not only will there be a commentary track from him, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, but we’ll also get at least twenty minutes of footage that didn’t make the final cut.  This includes:

»A scene with Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria driving to Forks in a car, snacking on a dead human. It was one of the final moments the actress filmed as the nomadic vampire.

» A scene with the human characters eating Burger King.

»Another scene with the humans, this time with Justin Chon and Michael Welch expressing jealousy over Edward’s car.

»More scenes with the Volturi in Italy.

» An extended cut of the scene where Mike Newton quotes Shakespeare to Bella in the Forks High parking lot; in it, he does a Marlon Brando impersonation.

» Scenes alluding to the ongoing breakup between Newton and Anna Kendrick’s Jessica.

Don’t Worry, Selena Gomez Has Nothing Against Twilight

Even though Miley Cyrus might hate it (without even seeing it), rest assured that fellow teen star Selena Gomez has absolutely nothing against The Twilight Saga.  Even though some people said she did.

From E!:

Selena Gomez wants you to know that she never said she doesn’t like Twilight.

The Disney darling has been getting a lot of flack from Twi-hards because they’re feeling like she dissed the world’s most talked-about vampire franchise when she told Bonnie Hunt last week that she hasn’t actually seen Twilight.

“All I said was that I didn’t watch it and I felt bad for not watching it…but of course, now it’s like, ‘I don’t like it.’ That’s not the case…I’m sorry if I offended anyone for that.”

It’s all good Selena — you’re allowed to not watch it (we don’t know why you wouldn’t though, but oh well).  It would only be weird if you insulted it without watching it like Miley did.

Rob and Kristen Take to Twitter

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart don’t have their own Twitter accounts, but they did just guest-write on the official Twilight Twitter account.  Chronologically, they said:

From Rob – Thank you for making NEW MOON #1. It’s very exciting to be a part of something embraced by so many people.

From Rob cont.- I hope you are looking forward to ECLIPSE as much as I am.

From Kristen – You all have proven you’re the most amazing fans in the world once again.

From Kristen cont. – I feel so lucky to be a part of The Twilight Saga and thank you for making us #1!

From Kristen cont. – Yes, I twittered. Or twitted..tweeted? I dunno, but thank you sooo much anyway..!

I wonder if we’ll hear from Taylor?

New Moon: International Record Breaker

The Twilight Saga: New Moon ended up making $258.8 million worldwide this weekend, including #1 openings in Australia, Croatia, Switzerland, the U.K., and a ton of other countries.

In the U.S. it ended up making $143 million — about $2 million more than estimates had guessed on Sunday night.  Yet more evidence that New Moon is consistently bigger, in almost every way, than everybody had expected.
