For over two months, the Twilight Saga cast and new director David Slade have been holed up in British Columbia filming Eclipse, and they’re finally almost done.  Slade’s Twitter updates got to be few and far between this month — filming Eclipse‘s epic battle scenes will do that to you, I guess — but lately he’s been offering up some interesting info.  Here are his past few notable tweets:

(Oct. 19) Shooting first day in the Cullen house, its the first day we managed to shoot more than our schedule.

(Oct. 19) Just one week and a few days to go to complete principle photography, the finish line seems still so far.

(Oct. 21) Last day on the battlefield, shot a huge day, tomorrow there may be a party, while battles ensue on mountain tops…

So for a while they were shooting scenes at the Cullens’ house and the battle at the same time.  Must be kind of a relief to finally start wrapping everything up!

The Twilight cast swept up Spike TV’s Scream Awards. This show awards only the best scary and sci-fi films and tv shows, so Twilight was a contender for several awards.

Sadly, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart weren’t present for the big awards show, but Mr. Taylor Lautner saved the day by making an appearance. Not only that, he also debuted exclusive New Moon footage AND he even beat out RPATZ when he took home the award for Best Breakout Performance from a Male.

Glee is officially pretty huge — it’s on the cover of the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly.  (The best part is, it’s only going to get bigger when it starts airing after American Idol early next year.)

“I was at Disneyland yesterday — big mistake,” says Chris Colfer, who plays gay fashionista Kurt. “I might as well have walked around with a target on my shirt, because those are our fans. I stopped and took pictures probably 40 times in between rides. This one lady got a picture of me on the Tower of Terror and had me sign it.”

We are less than a month away from the premiere of New Moon and its going to be great seeing all the new material that will be coming out in the next few weeks. So back to the clip, we get to see some old footage and also some new scenes like Jacob shifting to a wolf in front of Bella and Edward. That would be an interesting fight, i wonder who would win Edward or Jacob? To me the best part of the clip is the Laurent scene, you finally get to see him running for his life, oh poor poor Laurent, then Jacob catches up to him and well i think we all know what happens Anyway, check out the clip!

This is exactly when you know that you’ve hit it big… Forget about the Grammys, AMAs and Billboard charts, Taylor Swift is a star now that she’s had a song named after her.

Teen singer, Tyler Dean, wrote a song called ‘Taylor Swift’ and – you guessed it – it’s all about the country star.  More similar to Swift’s own ‘Tim McGraw’ versus some other tracks she penned about Joe Jonas, the Dean song has lyrics like this:

I need a song that will turn her head/One that says something that I’ve never said/To make her turn the lightest shade of red/And really come alive/Maybe she’s just a little too pretty/Out of reach and way too busy/What can I do when the honest truth is/I want a girl like Taylor Swift.

Do you think this Tennessee Tyler will take it to the top like Swift on her ‘country singer’-inspired song?  I also gotta add that Dean puts his SayNow number into the lyrics also.  Do we smell a bit of a copycat??  Let us know your thoughts!
