Miley Cyrus was disqualified from the Grammy’s-so was it fair?

Miley’s song “The Climb,” continues to top charts and get air play across the globe-but win a grammy, it will not. Despite the fact that this track was nominated for Best Song written for a Motion Picture, Miley was pulled out. This was after it was discovered that the song wasn’t specifically written for “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”

That said, Miley is out of the running. Do you guys think this is fair? The Grammy nominating board had already announced the nominations, after all.  Hit the comments section and tell us what you think!

Eclipse Movie Update: Bryce Dallas Howard Talks Final Scenes

Check out the video

Whether you like it or not, Bryce Dallas Howard will be playing the role of Victoria from here on out in the Twilight franchise. Up until now, we haven’t heard from her much, probably because Rachelle Lafavre was still in New Moon, despite the fact that she was fired before the film hit theaters.

Howard is weighing in on Eclipse, saying that the finale scene is, in her words, “extraordinary.” She admitted that it took weeks to prepare for the big scene and that it was very fun to do.  Only concrete thing to emerge?  It features “an army of newborns.”

Looking forward to the battle scene?  Or is there something else on your mind?  Hit the comments section and tell us all about it!

Ashley Greene Jealous Of Kristen Stewart?

Check out the video

So it’s fact that Ashley Greene said the following about Kristen Stewart:

‘I’m much more interested in the girl-next-door role than, say, the high school cheerleader. Unfortunately, Kristen also goes up for those roles, and she is the one who seems to be getting them all at the moment! Of course she is a really talented actress, but she’s younger than me! What’s that about?’

Yeah, what IS that about?  Is Ashley jealous?  Or does she have a point?  Hit the comments section and tell us what you think!

Selena Gomez Has Crush On Justin Bieber

Check out the video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeApbwFEwDI

We hear that one of our favorite Disney darlings has a bit of a crush on Justin Bieber–Selena Gomez, who when asked Bieber would only say he was “cute!”

Selena later elaborated:

“How do I put ‘I wish he was two years older’ in one word?’ He’s adorable, I love him.”

Considering Selena’s BFF Swifty’s dating someone THREE years younger, this may not be so out of line.

Would  Selena and Justin would make a cute couple? And what would their tabloid name be?  We figure Jelena or Sestin.  What’s your call? Leave it in the comments below!

Chris Weitz’s 5 MORE New Moon Secrets

Turns out director Chris Weitz’s “Five things you didn’t know about New Moon” list was just half of a feature that showed up in Entertainment Weekly this weekend.  Here are the other five things you didn’t know:

1. Look for an upside-down engraving of a wolf in the shot of the bowl in which Carlisle burns his first-aid equipment; on Jacob’s T-shirt when he meets Bella in the school parking lot for the first time; and a wolf trinket on the dream-catcher that he gives her.

2. When Edward, Bella, and Alice get into the elevator on their way to see the Volturi, the music playing in the elevator is from Strauss’ Die Fledermaus (a.k.a. The Bat).

3. When Bella is looking for the meadow where she and Edward are seen lying down together, she carries a golden compass clipped to her backpack — part of my baggage! [Weitz directed The Golden Compass.]

4. We did a little trick when Edward gets out of Bella’s truck and they’re arguing. We wanted to show Edward moving impossibly quickly, so we put Rob right next to the camera but out of sight, and used a double dressed like Rob in the driver’s seat. When Edward gets out, it’s the double, and then Rob steps in front of the camera, and it looks as if he got there faster than humanly possible.

5. And last but not least: If you want to know what Jacob says before he almost kisses Bella, ask a Quileute! The address of the Quileute tribal council is quileutenation.org. I can tell you this much: He says, Kwop kilawtley.

I went to the website, tried to find the meaning, and couldn’t, but word around the web is that “kwop kilawtley” means “stay with me forever.”

Bryce Dallas Howard on Playing Victoria

Bryce Dallas Howard talked to MTV recently about taking over Rachelle LaFevre’s role as Victoria in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, calling Rachelle’s acting “exquisite” in the process:

MTV: Would you say you studied Rachelle’s performance, to factor it into your own?

Howard: Well, I have seen “Twilight” innumerable times, innumerable. And yes, of course, I saw “New Moon” before doing “Eclipse,” because the continuity of the character is critical, and Rachelle had done a really exquisite job creating Victoria. It was really important to base all of my work on that. She set a very high bar, and I wanted to reach for that.

On the other hand, she totally dodged a question about how tough it was to fill in for somebody who was fired:

MTV: It’s no secret that you entered the franchise under less-than-ideal circumstances. What kinds of things did the other actors say and do in those early days?

Bryce Dallas Howard: What’s so great about that group of people is that they feel so genuinely blessed by this experience. Just by the response of the fans. But they’ve remained so grounded, and their friendships are genuine. I just felt really, really fortunate to get to meet all these wonderful people.

The extent to which she totally avoids answering the question makes me wonder if the cast was a little standoffish to her at first.  Then again, while Eclipse was filming we didn’t hear about any drama, so maybe everybody just got over it and did their jobs.
