In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.

In The Twilight Saga, Jacob and Edward are romantic rivals.  And life, at least a little bit, has begun to imitate art — Kristen Stewart really is dating Robert Pattinson, and really is close with both him and Taylor Lautner.  So what about Taylor and Rob’s relationship?  USA Today asks the same question:

As for any rivalry between the two male leads, “I think Rob enjoyed teasing Taylor about his exercise regimen,” [director Chris] Weitz says. But Pattinson appears more than ready to share the paparazzi-propelled burden of Twilight mania. “Rob would like me to say, ‘This is Taylor’s film. Rob isn’t in it at all.’ But subtraction equals multiplication in this case. It will create more hysteria, not less.”

Lautner says there is only one team when it comes to making the movies. “We all get along great and we’re in this together. Rob did a terrific job of bringing Edward alive. I just hope fans believe I did the same for Jacob.”

I’m thinking we will.  But what’s interesting to remember is that Taylor’s only 17 while Rob is 23.  They’re nearly six years apart in age — and yet Taylor still makes Jacob a totally credible rival, thanks to his acting as well as the thirty pounds of muscle he put on.  That just makes Taylor’s star-making role in New Moon that much more impressive.

Too early?  It’s never too early.  Some excited Twilight fans have already started waiting outside the theater in Westwood, CA where The Twilight Saga: New Moon will premiere this coming Monday, November 16th.

Alison from Twifans.com & I are already camping out in line for the Red Carpet “New Moon” premiere here in Westwood, CA. We are #1 in line! Squeeeee! Not bad for a couple of little Arizona girls. So far there are about 40 ppl behind us. Security is already here keeping everything safe & orderly. I’ll post more pics when I can. Yes…we are sleeping on the streets lol!

Keep in mind that all those people are in line just to get a good look at the stars on the red carpet — not to see the movie.  Unless they managed to land premiere tickets somehow, they’ll be waiting until November 20th like the rest of us.

Still, though — getting that close to Kristen, Rob, and Taylor?  Very jealous.

Dakota Fanning has been in the spotlight for most of her life, and the girl is all grown-up-showing off her model skills in her T-V spread. Clearly, the photos are gorgeous and feature Dakota in a variety of great looks.

In the article though, Miss Fanning chats about her relationship with Kristen Stewart, what it was like playing a mean character for the first time, and why she loves keep her life normal and attending a normal high school.  She also talked about her current career and with some of the major names she’s worked with already.
