Hey young unsigned artists–you may want to pay attention to this for next year. Seems that the Disney Channel’s gearing up for its annual Next Big Thing competition in which those young unsigned artists I mentioned are going to get their chance at showing up on Radio Disney joining staples like Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, and in all likelihood, from there, on to the Disney Channel proper. Dig the word from Michael Riley, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Radio Disney.:
“We’re creating a fully encompassing environment to showcase great new artists on Radio Disney with further exposure on Disney Channel, Disney.com and our N.B.T. mobile website, providing a truly immersive multi-platform experience for kids and families.”
A few months ago we did a show on Jonnie and Brookie who were the last NBT winners and we loved their “Missing Me Crazy” song.
Previews of the current finalists are up on the Radio Disney website, so head on out there to learn who the “next big thing” will wind up being.

i really want to be the next biug thing because i think it will be fun
