Kristen Stewart Doing Double-Duty at Sundance

Kristen Stewart will have two new films playing at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival this January: the indie Welcome to the Rileys and her Joan Jett biopic The Runaways.

Welcome to the Rileys stars Kristen as a stripper who befriends a troubled businessman (James Gandolfini) while he’s on a business trip to New Orleans.  The Runaways, meanwhile, stars Kristen as Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie in a chronicle of the ’70s teen band of the title.

In an interview a while back with Digital Spy, Kristen said of Rileys: “It’s an independent movie that nobody would normally see.  Now it’s like, ‘Oh, let’s go see Bella in this stripper movie – it’ll be crazy!”
