We want to send a big congratulations out to Claudia Lee!

The actress best known as “Magnolia Breeland” on the CW’s “Hart of Dixie” has just been cast in the highly anticipated action flick sequel “Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall.” The film is based on the second volume of the popular comic book series by Mark Millar. Production is slated to begin in Toronto in September, before moving to London, under the direction of Jeff Wadlow (Never Back Down, Cry Wolf).

In the sequel to the original “Kick-Ass,” 16-year-old Lee will play mean girl “Brooke,” the stuck-up leader of a teenage gang. It is the first feature role for the actress.

“I am so blessed to be apart of such a wonderful project! I have always wanted to play a character that would surprise my fans, and Brooke will definitely accomplish that goal” Lee said.

Aaron Johnson-Taylor will reprise his role of Dave Lizewski in the sequel which will also feature the return of Chloë Moretz as “Hit-Girl,” Christopher Mintz-Plasse as “Red Mist” and Nicolas Cage as “Big Daddy.”

“I am excited to join such a talented and accomplished cast. I’m looking forward to sharing the silver screen with them,” says Lee.

“Kick-Ass 2” is reportedly slated for release next June.

We are so excited for this sequel. Are you?

Horrible! I cannot believe they cast this filthy redneck slut whore into KA2. Plus I would think that is too “durr Merica.. DUUR Jesus” to do something like this…. Oh well, I guess when you suck you will take what you can get, right?

Really hoping to see KA2 outdo the first one, if that is even possible while remaining “morally sound” enough not to be legally classified as obscenity. I have high hopes and hope that KA2 isn’t a disappointment, but with this piece of filth + Jim Carry…. I’m quickly losing hope.
