Glee‘s Dianna Agron and Easy A‘s Emma Stone are among the finalists to be considered for the female lead in the upcoming Spider-Man movie, according to Deadline.
There are actually two female leads this time around: Mary-Jane Watson (played in the original Spider-Mans by Kirsten Dunst) and Gwen Stacy (played in Spider-Man 3 by Eclipse‘s Bryce Dallas Howard). So it’s possible they could both be cast. But also in contention are Alice in Wonderland‘s Mia Wasikowska and unknowns Dominique McElligott and Georgina Haig.
Spider-Man himself will be played by Andrew Garfield, who has a big role in this weekend’s much-talked-about The Social Network.
