In addition to releasing new music soon, Harry Potter’s Tom Felton just booked a new gig: in the upcoming 2011 summer movie Rise of the Apes.
The movie — which, yes, has a slightly silly title — is a prequel to the Planet of the Apes series and also stars James Franco and Freida Pinto. Tom will play the son of the villain, which sounds about right given his experience playing Draco Malfoy.
