Liam Hemsworth Offered Taylor Lautner’s Old Role

Remember right after New Moon came out, when Taylor Lautner signed up for like six different movies?  One of those was Northern Lights, about four young jet pilots in a worldwide competition.

Even though Taylor was offered $7.5 million for the role, he eventually dropped out thanks to his schedule.  So who do the Northern Lights want to replace him?  None other than Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus’s boyfriend.

According to Deadline, Liam hasn’t agreed to the role yet.  He’s only had a major role in one other movie — The Last Song — although he also recently signed up for the fantasy adventure Arabian Nights.
