If you’re looking for a fun filled family movie to see this holiday, we definitely recommend Parental Guidance.

The movie stars a great cast like Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei, Bailee Madison, and Joshua Rush, and is also guaranteed to give you your quota of laughs for the day…or week.

We had the chance to chat with Joshua Rush all about the movie and what this rising star has in store for 2013. Check it out!

What can you tell us about your character in ‘Parental Guidance’? Turner is an incredible kid. He loves science and math and he is a little nerdy like me. But he is hidden behind a stutter and during the movie, Turner comes out of his shell.

You have such a great cast, what was it like working with stars like Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei, Bailee Madison, etc? It was a great experience. I learned a lot by watching them.

Do you have a favorite scene from the movie? There was one scene when Billy’s character leaves us with a huge ice cream cake. And when he comes back, there is cake everywhere including my face and hair.

What was it like behind the scenes of the movie? Did you all pull any pranks or have fun bonding activities? Most days we just had fun. The best was on Halloween, when the crew set up their trucks as haunted houses and we got to go trick-or-treating.

This movie is perfect for the holidays. What is your favorite holiday movie? Well now I would have to say Parental Guidance!

You have a lot of projects coming out soon. Can you fill us in on what we can expect from you in 2013? I just did voice work for two movies: Mr. Peabody & Sherman and Escape from Planet Earth. I will also be guest staring in an episode of “See Dad Run” the first part of 2013.

Why should people go see ‘Parental Guidance’? It’s a really funny movie that has heart. Everyone is going to love it… the grandparents, parents and of course the kids!

‘Parental Guidance’ opens December 25, 2012.
