Demi Lovato sat down ABC News’ Robin Roberts for her first TV interview since leaving her 3 month treatment. Of course, the big announcement that Demi won’t be returning to Sonny With A Chance was a focus for the preview, with the star saying that she’s focusing on her 3rd album, adding that she loves expressing herself through music.
The news outlet had gathered a response from Disney about Lovato leaving the popular show, in a statement saying, “She is a talented young woman and our hearts are with her as she continues to take action to improve her health and bounce back from adversity.”
Demi also fills us in that childhood bullying is what wound up leading to her seeking treatment, even taking on some of the rumors that have been circulating in the last year. Like we said, this is just a preview of the full interview, which debuts on 20/20, again on ABC, Friday April 22.
