Zac Efron Wants to Star in Spin

Could you picture Zac Efron in a guy version of The Devil Wears Prada?  It could happen.

Apparently Efron wants to star in the movie adaptation of a just-published novel called Spin, by Robert Rave.  The novel stars a sheltered young guy from the Midwest who moves to New York and gets a job working for a horrible human being named Jennie Weinstein.  It’s based on Rave’s own experience working with publicist Lizzie Grubman.

Would you buy Zac as a clueless Midwesterner?  How about a guy who tries to make a business deal for his boss by hooking up…with another guy?  Because that’s a scene in the novel, according to E!Online.
