Now that Eclipse has begun filming, people are finally beginning to talk about the fourth and final Twilight Saga movie: Breaking Dawn.
The first thing Summit wants to assure you is that Breaking Dawn will indeed be made. Speaking to E!, a rep said:
The fans should rest assured the we’re working with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen. As in all creative processes, things take time. We want to make sure we get it right.
Melissa Rosenberg, the screenwriter of all the Twilight movies, also hinted that some of the more extreme aspects of the book — spoilers — like the honeymoon scenes and Bella’s violent pregnancy — end spoilers — will be toned down, saying “Our fans are in the PG age range, and I don’t feel a big necessity to see violence and to see gore.”

Anna Kendrick plays Bella’s annoying friend Jessica in the Twilight movies, but in between Twilight and New Moon she found a more adult role to play in Up in the Air, a new George Clooney movie.
It’s directed by Jason Reitman, the guy who did Juno. You can check out the poster, which features Kendrick on the left, below:

Now we’ve got a really wild situation on our hands, folks. Sources say with a fervor verging on fanaticism that Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have definitely hooked up. Jennie Garth’s gone on record as saying she KNOWS who Rob’s dating only bare days ago.
And now? Rob HIMSELF has burst out of nowhere, and what he’s got to say is forcing the whole thing out in a whole new direction.
He says, very clearly, that he’s SINGLE. Dig the word straight from the man hisself in The Mirror:
“I don’t know why. You always think you’re going to get more girls after you’ve made a movie and it never happens. You sit there and you’re like ‘I’m a big movie star and I want to go out with some models’ but I don’t know why that doesn’t happen.”
This smacks of an utter crock to me. We’re all WELL aware of his catting around New York with a co-star. We had multiple sources report from the Kings of Leon show.
So why is he actually saying that he’s single and doesn’t know why?

Summit Entertainment officially announced today that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has begun filming, with director David Slade (30 Days of Night) and a script by Melissa Rosenberg, who’s written both previous Twilight movies.
Along with director David Slade, several new actors are joining the TWILIGHT family including Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria, Xavier Samuel as Riley, Catalina Sandino Moreno as Maria, Jack Huston as Royce King, Julia Jones as Leah, BooBoo Stewart as Seth, and Jodelle Ferland as Bree.
The press release also provides the official plot description of the movie:
In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.
Have any hopes/fears with Eclipse? What do you think the movie will get wrong?

Did you see the New Moon trailer yet? If you watch it again and pause at 1:22, you’ll see your first brief glimpse of Dakota Fanning as Jane. She recently did a photo spread for the New York Times magazine (you can see one of the pictures above) and talked to them about playing the vampire, which she seemed to enjoy:
Fanning takes a fangs-first plunge into the darkness as Jane, a very nasty vampire who functions as a kind of vampire enforcer. She didn’t bother trying to find some redeeming characteristic in Jane, she says. “She’s pretty much evil,” Fanning says with a laugh. “Yes, she may feel like she’s just doing her job by torturing people, but that’s evil.”
Will Fanning live up to your expectations of the character?

Now here’s something that I KNOW is going to get everyone talking. Seems analysts over at Yahoo were riveted to the recent appearance of the New Moon trailer, which we’ve got right here, and they’ve come to a very interesting conclusion:
Taylor Lautner is the new leading man of the Twilight saga.
Now, this really comes across as sort of a poorly-constructed idea to me. See, anyone who’s been watching franchise movies for any length of time (and you KNOW I’ve been watching franchise movies for a good long while now) knows that perspectives will often shift from one character, or set of characters, to another. Remember how no one saw a Dursley in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince? Or how Jigsaw was nothing but a corpse and a flashback after Saw III?
It’s one thing to say that Taylor’ s the new leading man for New Moon–clearly the plot requires that he be, since Edward’s pretty much gone into hiding for at least part of it–but it’s quite another to say that Rob’s no longer a viable candidate for leading man just because the focus shifted.
Admittedly, to Yahoo’s credit, they aren’t EXACTLY claiming he’s taken the whole thing over, just suggesting the possibility that he MAY be the new guy to beat. And with Team Jacob building in intensity, that’s definitely feasible. But Rob’s got first-mover advantage on this one, and a whole lot of inertia working for him.
Stay tuned, folks–this is one fight that won’t be going away soon.

For everyone who thought that Rob Pattinson had blown it with Kristen Stewart for good when he went skulking around New York with a new co-star, well, you’ve either thought too soon, or you weren’t at the Kings of Leon concert last weekend in Vancouver when both were spotted “snuggl(ing), laughing” together.
Word from sources says that they’re not “boyfriend and girlfriend” right now, but they HAVE “definitely hooked up”. Sources further go on to claim: “They’ve decided to be more public about going out now”. Other sources note that the duo went to a bar afterward, and then back to the same hotel. This doesn’t mean so much–chances are the production got a discount room rate to keep the whole cast in one place–though it may be more than meets the eye.
So that’d seem to be it. The on again / off again that is Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is indeed on again.
At least, for now….

Where do vampires go when they finish shooting? Back to their coffins? The blood bank?
Well, if you’re the vampire-heavy cast of New Moon, the newest installation in the Twilight series, you go for sushi. Vancouver’s Miko Sushi played host to most of the cast over the weekend, and interestingly enough, not only were Rob and Kristen there, but so was Taylor Lautner. Also in attendance was Ashley Green and Bryce Dallas Howard.
This is especially interesting in that apparently Team Edward and Team Jacob’s respective figureheads can be in the same room without a fight breaking out or the two of them bursting into flames. Frankly, that’s awesome–I’m glad the duo can eat raw fish together in peace.
Anyone besides me think that it REALLY would’ve been awesome if they’d gone in costume? Fangs and all? That would’ve been so very entertaining. Not that New Moon actually NEEDS more publicity, but still!

At a recent red carpet in New York City, Jennie Garth — the wife of Peter Facinelli, who plays Carlisle Cullen in Twilight and New Moon –was quoted by Gatecrasher as admitting that Robert Pattinson was dating either Kristen Stewart or Nikki Reed (who plays Rosalie).
But she’s either backtracking, or the quote was made up, because now Facinelli is claiming that she didn’t reveal anything. On his Twitter account, he posted:
Complete media fabrication. I read the transcript of what my wife actually said, which was, “My husband talks to me about Twilight stuff, but I promised him I wouldn’t talk about it.” Somehow that got turned into this.
Of course, he could just be watching out for his job, considering how they like to fire people over there.
