ABC Family just hit us with some new promo shots from its much talked about upcoming series, Pretty Little Liars. Just to bring you up-to-speed first, this show is based on the uber-popular book series of the same name, and the tv series stars Lucy Hale in a group of friends living a seemingly perfect teen life… until one night, one of the bffs in the clique goes missing. One year later, the rest of the girls reunite as they start to get messages from an anonymous person who knows all of their secrets, causing their lives to be flipped upside down. Others to be haunted by the mysterious person are played by Ashley Benson, Torian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell.

“So excited second season of JONAS filming starts right now!”

That’s what Nick Jonas posted to Twitter last night, and already there are some photos out from the shoot.  Seems that Kevin has a hold of a really nice car and doesn’t mind driving his brothers — as well as co-stars Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson — around for a while.  Here’s a pic from JustJaredJr:

The lovely young actress Keke Palmer is kicking off the second season of her Nick show True Jackson, VP with a one-hour premiere movie called “Flirting with Fame.”  Joining the cast is a grown-up Tyler James Williams — Chris from the recently-canceled Everybody Hates Chris.  They’d make a cute couple…check out some more pics from the show below.  This episode will air on November 28.

Glee is officially pretty huge — it’s on the cover of the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly.  (The best part is, it’s only going to get bigger when it starts airing after American Idol early next year.)

“I was at Disneyland yesterday — big mistake,” says Chris Colfer, who plays gay fashionista Kurt. “I might as well have walked around with a target on my shirt, because those are our fans. I stopped and took pictures probably 40 times in between rides. This one lady got a picture of me on the Tower of Terror and had me sign it.”

The CW’s new series The Vampire Diaries is a hit so far, causing E! to declare that it’s making Twilight look bad.

However loosely show runner Kevin Williamson plans to follow the original Vampire Diaries novels, this saga’s storylines are dark. Forks is Fantasyland compared with all the evil going down in Mystic Falls.

And just forget Teams Jacob and Edward: The darkest thing in their pasts is…Wait, do those paragons of virtue have anything to hide? Wait until you learn the sinister secrets Stefan and Damon are harboring, and then you’ll know what a wicked vamp looks like.

Hey, watch it!  Forks is a dangerous place too, and these new people have nothing on Bella, Edward, or Jacob…do they?

The day after The Vampire Diaries premiered on the CW, news broke that months earlier, the female members of the cast were posing for a photo shoot on a traffic overpass in Georgia and got so distracting that they were all arrested for disorderly conduct.

So what were they doing that was so disorderly?  According to E!, the girls were “striking a series of motorist-distracting poses, including straddling the railing and simulating being thrown over.”  But now a picture has emerged from the photo shoot, and it’s relatively unexciting:

Motorist-distracting?  Yeah, I can see that.  But was it really worth arresting them over?

Suddenly, Selena Gomez is everywhere.  In Africa…in the movie Ramona and Beezus…in the new season of Wizards of Waverly Place…and in these new promotional photos for the Wizards movie.

Wizards of Waverly Place premieres its third season on October 9th, and the Disney Channel has put out some new promo photos featuring Selena Gomez and the gang.  There’s one photo each for the first four episodes: “Franken-Girl,” “Halloween,” “Monster Hunter,” and “Three Monsters.”

The CW’s upcoming fall show The Beautiful Life, produced by Ashton Kutcher, certainly has its share of star power with Corbin Bleu (High School Musical), Mischa Barton (The O.C.) and Sara Paxton (Darcy’s Wild Life) among the cast.  But it looks like they’re trying to stir up controversy with eye-opening ads like this one:

After Vanessa Hudgens, I never dreamed I’d see another High School Musical star naked.  EOnline has the rest of the ads.

Some parents groups complained back when Gossip Girl was doing it’s whole “OMFG!” ad campaign.  I wonder what they’ll say when they see these…
