“The Originals” is a spin-off of “The Vampire Diaries” and will air tonight on the CW as an episode of TVD. In the show, we get to follow Klaus to New Orleans where he comes face to face with his former protege Marcel who seems to be causing some trouble.

In the show, we’ll also see fan favorites Phoebe Tonkin, Claire Holt and Daniel Gillies as well as newcomers to the series Leah Pipes and Charles Michael Davis.

The pilot for the TVD spin-off will air as the April 25 episode of “The Vampire Diaries” and we have a new clip!

In the clip, Klaus looks frustrated and on a mission when his brother Elijah walks in and reveals he might just have the information Klaus is seeking.

What is Caroline doing with Klaus?!

In Thursday’s new episode, “American Gothic,” it looks like Caroline is getting revenge on Klaus. In the preview below, you can hear her telling a shirtless Klaus, “I will bring you nothing but misery.”

Also, it looks like Elena and Katherine will come face to face to talk about the cure. Full synopsis: Elena and Rebekah take off in search of Katherine and find themselves in a small town in Pennsylvania, where Elena has a surprising encounter with another old acquaintance — Elijah. Stefan and Damon are both concerned about Elena’s state of mind and are determined to do what’s best for her, but she makes it clear that helping her will be difficult. Damon is not sure how to react when Stefan reveals his unexpected plan for the future. Meanwhile, in Mystic Falls, Klaus receives Caroline’s reluctant help and comes to a new understanding of Silas’ powers.

Do our eyes deceive us or are Rebekah, Elena & Damon all in the same place and actually enjoying each other’s company in this new clip from “The Vampire Diaries”?

It looks like the trio head out to a concert for a night of fun and Damon mentions that Lexi told him she thought the only way Damon would turn his emotions back on was to start enjoying his life. Hmmm, so is Elena also searching for a way to turn her emotions back on?

From the clips, it looks like Elena wants back on the cheerleading squad and Damon has a proposition for Klaus.

Last night’s episode of “The Vampire Diaries” was a very emotional one and it looks like Elena isn’t taking it well!

Elena is coping with the death of her brother Jeremy and to help her out, Damon has made her turn off what’s left of her emotional side. It looks like in the next episode, “Bring It On,” Elena will try to counter it by going a little crazy and turning into a bad girl. Yup, she’s feeding on the other squads at a cheerleading competition. We didn’t realize Elena was still a cheerleader!

In this week’s episode of “The Vampire Diaries,” now that pretty much everyone seems to be missing, Elena gives Caroline a ring to try to come up with a solution. It looks like they’re going to need the sword Klaus has hidden. Will Caroline be able to find it?

Our favorite residents of Mystic Falls will be back for a fifth season!

The CW just announced that it has given early season pickups to three of its hit shows – “The Vampire Diaries,” “Arrow,” and “Supernatural.”

“We said last year that one of our goals was to establish building blocks to grow on, and now with our new hit Arrow and fan favorite Supernatural on Wednesday night, and the continued success of The Vampire Diaries on Thursday, we’ve been able to do that,” said Mark Pedowitz, president of The CW. “Not only do Arrow, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries perform well on-air, they’re also extremely successful for us both digitally and socially. I’m thrilled to have all three shows returning to our schedule next season.”

“The Vampire Diaries” spin-off “The Originals” has found its newest addition!

Daniella Pineda from Fitzgerald Family Christmas has joined the cast of the CW pilot according to Deadline. The pilot will air as the April 25 episode of TVD and stars Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies and Phoebe Tonkin.

Daniella will play Sophie, a witch whose magic has been silenced but not snuffed. A leader and a sexy, sharp-tongued social force, she is quietly sowing the seeds of a revolution amongst her peers.

Update: Deadline has announced another big role for “The Originals.” Charles Michael Davis from “The Game” has landed the lead role Marcel, who is Klaus’ diabolical former protégé Marcel. Wicked, wild and charismatic, Marcel is a former kicked-around street rat who now calls the shots in the supernatural playground of New Orleans. As a modern-day vampire, he’s fierce and bold, able to accomplish as much with his charm as he is with his strength.
