The Twilight Saga: New Moon (and in some cases the whole Twilight series) is up for five different Kids’ Choice Awards, Nickelodeon’s annual awards show which will be held on March 27th at 8 p.m. with host Kevin James.  The categories are:

• Best Couple – Edward and Bella
• Best Couple – Jacob and Bella
• Best Movie
• Best Movie Actor – Taylor Lautner
• Best Book

Taylor Swift grabs another 5 award nominations.

Quite impressive indeed. Swift picked up 5 nominations for the upcoming 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards show, one including the Entertainer of the Year. The other spots are for Top Female Vocalist of the Year, Video of the Year for ‘You Belong With Me’ as well as 2 nominations in the Song of the Year category for ‘You Belong With Me.’ Interestingly, there are some other artists with even more nods for the country music awards, including Lady Antebellum who received the most at 7, followed by Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood both with 6, Kenny Chesney got 4 noms along with the Zac Brown Band and Brad Paisley.

Taylor Swift is showing off her model good looks on the upcoming cover of Elle.

Despite the fact that Taylor Swift has won just about every major award in existence for her musical talent, fashion designers and magazine editors around the world continue to focus their attention on the singer’s super model beauty.

Swifty shot two different covers for the Elle magazine – both of which show off her signature curly hair. But the pictures inside the pages of her spread show off a very different looking Tay, complete with straight hair and long bangs. The 5 foot 11 inch beauty would make tons of fashionistas incredibly happy if she took on a side business in the modeling world.

Taylor Swift is all over the newest issue of Elle magazine, both on the cover (which you can see below) and in a new interview inside.

Just when we’d finally gotten over the Taylor Squared break-up, some new pictures have us all asking the couple to take another try.

The relationship between Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift never really even had the chance to become anything, but now, lucky for fans of the duo, there are a bunch of great promo shots from Valentine’s Day to hold on to.

There are 8 shots of the cute on-screen couple, looking very coupl-y I might add. One where he’s looking at her, another where she’s looking at him, lots of cute smiles, embraces…so you get the point. The definitely seem to be enjoying themselves.

It seems that Taylor Lautner can’t help but break box office records whenever he appears in a movie.  Valentine’s Day, the star-studded romantic comedy in which he appears with Taylor Swift, made nearly $67 million from Friday to Monday, making it the biggest President’s Day weekend opening ever.

The movie also stars Emma Roberts, Jennifer Garner, Jamie Foxx, Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher, Anne Hathaway, and many, many more.

That wasn’t the only excitement, though.  Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, starring Logan Lerman (pictured), made $39 million over the four-day weekend, or a lot higher than most people were expecting.  If you were hoping for sequels, you’re likely to get your wish.

The big openings pushed guy movies like The Wolfman and Avatar down to third and fourth place.  Fifth place went to Dear John, which is still doing well after its surprise #1 opening last weekend.

iTunes releases its top downloaded songs of all-time well, at least in internet times.

This is a brand new list as created by iTunes for the most downloaded songs on the site ever.  And surprisingly, the top spots on the chart did not go to artists or bands that have been around for that long.  Taking the number-1 rank, Black Eyed Peas with I Gotta Feeling followed by Lady Gaga’s Poker Face.  Some other Top-10 mentions include Jason Mraz and Coldplay with other records set by Flo Rida, Taylor Swift, Leona Lewis and Ke$ha

Taylor Swift has officially made her feature film debut and the reviews on her acting chops are sweeping in. We’ve got the reactions to Swifty’s performance in “Valentine’s Day.”

Reviews on the singer’s new acting gig are coming in and some of them aren’t so great. Of course there are so many big-name actors in the movie, that’s it really impossible to make any real judgement on her acting, but either way, the critics are out and in full effect.

According to a writer at Variety, “Swift, especially, seems undirected, as she jumps around, makes faces and jabbers so inanely. If she’s to have a film career, she needs to find a skilled director to tamp her down and channel her obviously abundant energy.” Wow-so that was a bit of a slam on Swift and the director in this case.
