Don’t call her the next Miley, because Selena Gomez is her own person.

In an interview with the Associated Press, she said:

[I'm] not here to be the next anyone. I’m not here to replace anyone. I’m here doing my own thing. I’m proud to be a part of the Disney Channel family and I’m taking it day by day.

Sounds like a coached answer, but that’s fine, it’s still probably true.  Would anyone really want to be the next Miley?  Sure she is rich and super famous, but what about all the paparazzi, constant rumors, etc…. Selena is a media darling, she won an Emmy, just became a Unicef ambassador so maybe we should be asking who will be the next Selena

Lots of stars showed up to show support for Selena Gomez and the release of her new record.

Dancing With The Stars, her Hollywood cd debut party, the Today show in NYC??  Yes, we’ve reported on this busy lady and her band, The Scene, in the music biz already.  But just incase you missed out on the info for Selena’s first concert performance ever and the new album, Kiss & Tell, here are the details!!!

Selena Gomez is taking the entertainment world by storm this week, and we’re loving every moment. Here’s a quick list of where she’s been so far. 

1. S-G and The Scene rocked it out LIVE in Los Angeles on “Dancing with the Stars!”

2. Miss Gomez and her famous pals partied it up at Siren Studios in Hollywood to celebrate the release of her new album!

3. Selena head east to appear on the Today Show on NBC. Sidenote: We love her long locks! 

4. The “Kiss &  Tell” singer sits down in NYC on the “Regis and Kelly.”

Sure, there are plenty of Selena Gomez & Taylor Lautner rumors, but Selena insisted to E! last night that her biggest crush was Transformers star Shia LaBeouf.

“He’ll always have a special place reserved,” cooed Selena, 17.

As for her professional wish list, Selena said she wants to “mix it up” with Jason Mraz.

She also mentioned that while she’s on Team Jacob “because Taylor is my friend,” she likes Team Edward enough to make it a tough decision.  In other words, given the chance, she’d dump Taylor for Robert Pattinson immediately.

One of our all-time favorite guests, Josh Golden came by the studio yesterday to give us a live performance of a brand new song! Josh was in LA to attend the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party, and he stuck around to go to Selena Gomez’s album release party, too! ClevverTV will have the exclusive listen and look at this track which is being called “Dance Dance Dance.” We can’t wait to show it to you guys!
