If you were watching the Disney Channel in the past few days you may have caught this: a brief preview of Selena Gomez’s new music video for “Naturally,” which debuts on Friday.  The preview doesn’t show much, but you get a brief look behind the scenes and a couple of the different outfits she wears.  Check it out:

Selena Gomez is halfway through the third season of her show Wizards of Waverly Place, and she recently teased to TV Guide what’s coming up for the show:

Gomez: We are on Season 3 right now, so we have a lot more magic. My character, Alex, has a lot of growing to do and she falls in love for the first time. [Gomez's love interest is played by British actor Gregg Sulkin, who stars in Disney Channel U.K.'s As the Bell Rings.]

The interviewer also asks her about her good friend Demi Lovato:

TVGuide.com: Would you and Demi Lovato ever tour together?
Gomez: That would be awesome. I’m doing my show and she has her show, but that would be fun.

Today, we’re filling you in on the latest Gomez project. Perhaps we should say possible project–an upcoming movie adaptation of the book, ‘Seven Rays’.

And Seven Rays is going to be a real departure for Selena Gomez: it features an honor student who eventually questions her own sanity.

Reportedly, it all starts with the character receiving gold envelopes with weird messages like, ‘You are more than you think you are, causing the high schooler to believe she’s being stalked. But when she starts to see people’s thoughts, feelings and electromagnetic fields – and the town hottie becomes obsessed with her – the student starts to think she’s gone nuts, and there might even be a psychiatric institution involved.

Selena Gomez’s first big show rocked the House of Blues down south in San Diego. The crowd loved her performance, and really reacted to her when she interacted with them.

Right before Selena sang “I Don’t Miss You At All,” she told the crowd that she really loves the song because it got her through a lot-and it’s about the feeling you get when you wake up one day and realize that you can tell the person who hurt you that you don’t miss them. The fans yelled and chanted and Selena said, “I hope someone watches this on Youtube.”

So the big mystery is, who is that “someone?” Is it an ex boyfriend? Maybe a certain Jonas brother?

When the 17-year-old heads back to her native Texas for the delicious holiday, Selena says her fave food is a toss-up between Nana’s homemade pumpkin pie and her stuffing.

First up is one of the hottest, most understated looks of the night. And of course it’s only understated because many of the looks we saw at the AMA’s were very avant guard.

Kristen Bell looked amazing in the short, drapy, shimmery white dress she chose.

Then of course Fergie was right on trend with her dress-the sky-high slit pushed the limits.

Disney BFF’s Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato held things down on the red carpet. Selena’s disco-ball-inspired dress was fun and flirty-and her strappy shoes accented the look perfectly. Demi pumped things up with her pale peachy dress.

Clevver’s dress of the night, however,  goes to Rihanna.

Even though Miley Cyrus might hate it (without even seeing it), rest assured that fellow teen star Selena Gomez has absolutely nothing against The Twilight Saga.  Even though some people said she did.

Selena Gomez wants you to know that she never said she doesn’t like Twilight.

The Disney darling has been getting a lot of flack from Twi-hards because they’re feeling like she dissed the world’s most talked-about vampire franchise when she told Bonnie Hunt last week that she hasn’t actually seen Twilight.

“All I said was that I didn’t watch it and I felt bad for not watching it…but of course, now it’s like, ‘I don’t like it.’ That’s not the case…I’m sorry if I offended anyone for that.”

It’s all good Selena — you’re allowed to not watch it (we don’t know why you wouldn’t though, but oh well).  It would only be weird if you insulted it without watching it like Miley did.

MTV has been asking celebrities left and right whether they’re Team Edward or Team Jacob.  And while some couldn’t pick a side — Demi Lovato at first said Edward, then said Jacob — Joe Jonas, for one, said he was Team Edward because “he’s a vampire, but he’s pretty strong and stuff.”

On the other hand, Selena Gomez is good friends with Taylor Lautner.  So she’s going to pick Jacob.  Right?  “I have to chose one of them?” she asked.  “I don’t know, I guess Team Jacob, ’cause I want to be a good friend.”

Too bad there’s no Team Both.

Over the weekend, Selena Gomez’s hit single “Falling Down” topped #1 on the Radio Disney Countdown.  The DJ called Selena up on the spot to tell her the news, and she was elated.  According to JJJ, she said:

What? Are you kidding me? OMG, I’m number one! This is so crazy! Thank you! I’ve never had a number one. I listen to Top 30 Countdown all the time. Thank you!
