According to OceanUP, Selena Gomez talked to M Magazine about her friendship with Taylor Swift recently, saying, “I feel like I’ve known her for ten years…Taylor is the only sister I’ve ever had.”

But what about old friend Demi Lovato, who recently hinted that Selena had ditched her for Taylor?  Selena says, “We’ve all make mistakes. But my friendship with Demi has always been good because I don’t judge.”

You could unpack that statement in two different ways: she could saying that she never judged Demi on any of her mistakes, or she could be saying that she made a mistake and Demi unfairly judged her.  Either way, it’s a little bit underhanded, but we still have hope that all three girls involved can make up and find time for each other.

Selena Gomez did a radio interview the other day in which she was asked about her rekindled “friendship” with Nick Jonas.  She claimed Nick’s just “a very good friend.  I mean, like people say, you like hanging out with people you’re — familiar with (laughing).”

So today were talking about the next generation of Disney stars.  I mean, have you ever thought, who’s going to replace the Mileys, Selenas, Efrons and Jonases of the entertainment world?  Well, if you have wondered, we’ve got the answer.

The Disney Channel is hoping that a few new youngsters will be the next overnight stars.  First up, Hutch Dano and Adam Hicks.  They’re set to star in the XD series Zeke and Luther.  Dano’s already been on The Suite Life on Deck and the DC Original Movie Den Brother, while Hicks is up to par on his comedic timing and rap skills apparently, a great fit for the new show.

Pictures have been leaking out over the past few weeks of Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas hanging out, and the rumor is they’re back together as a couple.  Now it seems Nick was asked about it — and he didn’t deny it.  But he did ask for privacy.

According to MuchMusic, Nick answered a fan during a Q&A session by saying:

I think when it comes to that I try to keep it a bit to myself and keep it a bit private. We always try to find time to go out and hang out with people we enjoy spending time with and as far as that future of that relationship goes I will keep that to myself for right now.

Now, I know we’re used to seeing the duo together onscreen for the the Camp Rock movies, but this new song is actually totally separate from that project.

Their new song, which is apparently titled “Make a Wave,” is in support of Disney’s Friends for Change Campaign. If you guys remember, several months back, the Jonas Brothers, Demi, Selena, and Miley all got together to record another song in support of going green. We haven’t heard the new track and we don’t have any in-depth details, but we’re guessing from the title that it might have something to do with water. Maybe keeping the oceans clean, or maybe making in a figurative sort of wave by inspiring change around you.

It’s so sad to see that Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are apparently no longer friends. We used to love the Demi & Selena vlogs. Do you guys remember those? Was Demi a little rude in answering the fan’s question in the UK ? Well hopefully there are no awkward moments at the upcoming Jonas/Demi Rodeo show…if Selena is hanging out with Nick.

The Hope for Haiti Now telethon was a very successful MTV-televised event that earned 57-million dollars for Haiti earthquake relief – thanks very much in part to Hollywood.

This was a star-studded event, with attendees comparable to some of the biggest awards shows. This telethon was hosted by George Clooney, but others like Leonardo DiCaprio, Angelina Jolie, Jack Black, Halle Berry and Julie Roberts volunteered, and younger celebs answered phone calls as well including Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Taylor Lautner, Selena Gomez and the Jonas Brothers.

As Selena Gomez continues to expand her brand, now she’s taking her musical act overseas. Thanks to her Facebook page, we’re getting the international details.

So Selena specifically posted the following message: I have an overseas trip being planned for the record in late March I cant wait to come see you all. I will pass along more details as I get them in.

Always be careful what you say — especially if you’re a celebrity, because somebody might be filming it.  On Sunday, Demi Lovato was signing autographs outside BBC Radio 1 in London when a fan asked her how Selena Gomez was doing.

“Ask Taylor,” she said loudly, referring to Taylor Swift and sounding a little annoyed.  You can watch the video evidence here.

Does that mean Demi and Selena are no longer BFFs?  It certainly sounds that way.  Of course, both singer/actresses are seventeen years old and both are extraordinarily busy — not the best circumstances in which to maintain a tight-knit friendship.  Sad to hear that Taylor Swift is involved, but they’re all cool girls — they can work it out.  Right?
