Think it might be annoying to have fans following you around everywhere? Think again. Robert Pattinson became his fans’ biggest fan when they drove the paparazzi off the set of his new movie Water for Elephants, reports ContactMusic:
[Paparazzi] frequently descended on the California set to try and catch Pattinson and Witherspoon at work, and at one stage they were distracting the pair during a scene – but the Twilight star’s waiting fans saved the day.
He tells Telepoche magazine, “(The funniest fan experience) happened while I was filming Water for Elephants in which my partner is Reese Witherspoon. We had a scene with elephants but there were so many paparazzi around that it was scaring the animals and it was impossible to film.
“Out of the blue, fans, that were waiting for autographs, had enough and circled around the paparazzi. Teens made big guys run away. It was unreal! I was pleased.”
We’ve posted alotof set photos from Robert Pattinson’s Water for Elephants already, but how can we pass up this latest batch — of Rob and a puppy? We can’t. Too cute.
Summit Entertainment announced today in a press release that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn would film in Vancouver as well as Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as has been rumored over the past few weeks.
Additionally, they confirmed that Part 1 would be released in theaters on November 18th, 2011. (Still no official word on Part 2, but July 2012 sounds likely.)
As for a plot description, this is all they’re willing to say so far:
THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.
Now we know that Robert Pattinson is a gentleman through and through, so that likely means he doesn’t kiss and tell. But the kiss we’re dishing on is work related so we’re giving this one a pass. Robert is currently at work in Los Angeles on the film Water For Elephants with Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon, with who we’re learning he’ll share a smooch or two.
In a new interview with Cinematical, Robert Pattinson admits he hasn’t even read Breaking Dawn yet — on purpose — and wonders aloud whether they’d let him get away with giving Edward a haircut:
In Breaking Dawn, what do you think Edward’s evolution will be?
Pattinson: I haven’t read it yet! I mean, it’s weird – I’m starting it a month after this job and it’s something I’m quite glad I haven’t read it yet. I didn’t intend to not read it until now, it’s quite exciting. I have no idea, I just heard brief rumors about what happens in the story but I don’t really know what happens at all
Your current haircut is shorter than Edward’s. How are you going to go about getting your long hair back for Breaking Dawn?
Pattinson: I’m thinking maybe Edward got a haircut – it might be easier. I didn’t even think about that when I got it cut, that is a bit silly. Vampires can cut their hair though, so I like the idea of Edward having a shaved head in the last one. That [would be] pretty cool.
According to Vulture, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are all getting $25 million apiece to star in the two Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn movies. At least.
Their deal is for $12.5 million for each movie plus $7.5 percent of profits, which could land them a lot more. I’m not sure about Taylor, but Kristen and Rob were both paid a reported $12 million for New Moon and Eclipse and only $2 million for Twilight. That’s a pretty nice raise.
More set photos from Water for Elephants have been leaked online, this time featuring both Robert Pattinson and his costar Reese Witherspoon dressed in fancy evening wear and getting pretty intimate. Oh, and they dance! That’s something I doubt we’ll see Edward Cullen doing anytime soon…
Robert Pattinson talked to GMTV recently about his fame, his fans, and his favorite Twilight movie, both to work on (the first, because it was new and exciting) and to watch (the second, because it was his favorite book and was “depressing”). When asked what tips he’s taken from Edward to make girls fall in love with him, he has a surprisingly good answer: “Stay quiet most of the time. It kind of works if you want to be a attractive.” Check it out:
Some of your favorite stars have made the Forbes Celebrity Power List. Keep in mind that this famous list is not limited to YOUNG celebs, but for some reason, it’s young stars that are dominating it!
While we’ve previously heard from a few lucky fans that Eclipse is the best Twilight movie yet, all the major publications haven’t released reviews — until now. The Hollywood Reporter gives it a very positive review, saying:
The three leads shine under his direction. Stewart anchors everything with a finely tuned if not slightly underplayed performance that catches her character in moments of doubt about the course and the man she has chosen. Pattinson makes you forget the white makeup and weird eye contact lenses to concentrate on a person torn over his love for a woman and the sacrifice he knows she will have to make to stay with him. But it’s Lautner who nearly steals the movie with his ripped muscle and steely acting. He definitely has the “it” factor Hollywood always looks for.
“Eclipse” feels the most cinematic of the series so far, taking scenes out of the lunchroom and Swan house as much as possible. Slade shares Hardwicke’s aesthetic of using dramatic aerial photography to give the otherwise intimate tale a more epic sweep, and expands on it by repeatedly lining up the various clans like the subjects of a Vanity Fair cover shoot, their iconic group poses helping to make the movie seem as big as its following.
