In a new interview (which you can watch below), The Last Song co-star Liam Hemsworth talks about working with, and dating, Miley Cyrus.

On auditioning: “We just had really good chemistry on screen, so it worked out … she’s amazing.  She can sing, dance, and act.  It’s incredible.”

After the reporter confirms that the two are dating: “Yeah. I get nervous talking about my private life, but it’s hard to deny.  So many photos (laughs).”

He comes across as a really good guy!

Even though Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have tried to stay secretive in an official sense, they’re putting it all out there, even posing for Teen Vogue.

It’s been gossip and lots of unanswered questions! But finally, Miley and Liam are putting it all out there for the public. Cyrus rocks the April cover of Teen Vogue and inside the mag pages, readers can hear about their true love and almost-immediate connection. Miley said that she loves that he’s a gentleman and thinks they’re both deeper than normal people what they feel and what they think also saying that Liam appreciates what he has in life. There’s definitely at least one pic of the two walking arm-in-arm.

USA Today just came out with a new interview between Miley Cyrus and author Nicholas Sparks, who wrote The Last Song’s novel and screenplay and has also written The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, and Dear John.  Miley even talks about her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and admits she still hasn’t finished The Last Song novel:

When Cyrus joins Sparks in the stacks at Book Soup, he asks about her weekend: “What’d you do for fun? Out with Liam?”

Cyrus smiles widely. “At first, he was working, so I was cute,” she says. “I went and got him coffee, bought him an Elvis CD and went and gave it to him at the photo shoot.” …

Cyrus confesses that, well, she never finished the novel, originally published in hardcover last September. “With the book, I’ve only gotten through part of The Last Song,” Cyrus says sheepishly. “Because the movie started first.”

Sparks feigns being stricken, but then says: “I don’t know if I ever watched a Hannah Montana show. … Nothing personal. My daughters do every day.”

” ‘Nothing personal. I just hate her show,’ ” Cyrus says, laughing and mocking his voice.

Liam Hemsworth is still unknown to most people; we know him as Miley Cyrus’s new boyfriend and her co-star in the upcoming The Last Song, but the only other role he’s had in the U.S. so far has been a minor part in the movie Knowing.  But that’s about to change.

Liam has just been cast as the lead in Arabian Nights, a big-budget period action movie.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, it’s about “a young commander (Hemsworth) who, after his king is murdered in a coup, joins forces with Sinbad and Aladdin to rescue Queen Scheherazade.”

He’ll probably start shooting the movie by the end of the summer.  Way to go Liam!

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner weren’t the only teen stars at the Oscars last night.  Miley Cyrus showed up to present the Oscar for Best Original Song along with Mamma Mia! star Amanda Seyfried.  Afterward, she attended an after-party with her boyfriend and Last Song co-star Liam Hemsworth.  Here are some pics:

The annual Academy Award ceremony is tonight, and as we speak stars are being fit into designer suits and dresses that are either really pretty or really strange.

Guest presenters this year include a decidedly young array of stars, including Zac Efron, Miley Cyrus, and all three Twilight stars: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.

Speaking of Twilight, co-star Anna Kendrick is nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in Up in the Air.  Does she have a chance to beat Mo’Nique, the favorite for her role in Precious?  And will Sandra Bullock from The Blind Side win Best Actress over Meryl Streep from Julie & Julia?
