Justin Beiber recently compared himself to the ultra-famous Beatles, because of a new promo for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards.
Justin Bieber just came out with this new ad for MTV’s VMAs, which air on September 12th:
Bieber explains at MTV that the promo was inspired by the Beatles, saying:
I’m kind of like the Beatles running, and there’s girls chasing after me … Everything’s been going pretty smooth. I like girls chasing me, so it’s good.
They like chasing you, too, Justin.
A few weeks back we reported that the Justin Bieber film had lost its director to another project and was in jeopardy of going away. Today, we have much better news. The team for the film is now in place and if you’re a Step Up franchise fan, you’re about to get the news of a lifetime. The director of the wildly successful Step Up 2 and 3 films, Jon M. Chu, has signed on to join forces with the rest of the J-Bieb crew to direct Justin in his feature film debut.
Paramount and MTV Films have announced that Jon M. Chu, director of Step Up 2 the Streets and Step Up 3D, will direct the upcoming Justin Bieber 3D musical biopic movie.
When the original director, Davis Guggenheim, abruptly quit last week, it led to speculation that the movie was in trouble, but it seems right on track now.
According to the press release, for Chu, taking the job was an easy decision:
When I was approached about doing Justin’s film, I jumped at the opportunity to tell a story with honesty and heart. Most people don’t know that his is a true underdog story, and I hope to tell it in a compelling, genuine way, using all source materials available to convey his tale of becoming an icon for this digital age. This is the story of a new voice continuing the tradition of musicians that defined their generation.
Glee creator Ryan Murphy has given Justin Bieber an open invitation to appear on the hit FOX series. He says that the actors on the show “sing his stuff all day long…they sing ‘Baby.” Plus, Ryan notes that Justin is phenomenally talented, so if he’s interested, then Glee would make it happen.
Photos from Justin Bieber’s photo shoot with his dream girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, are out. After the duo first met and Twitpicked at the White House, silly couple rumors quickly got out of control. A real photo shoot followed, and now Kim Kardashian is revealing that she can finally tell everyone the photos were shot for Elle magazine.
Justin Bieber is on the road touring and while his music is obviously making headlines, so are his shoes. Yes, it sounds crazy, but at a recent show, Justin was kicking it with some rockin’ purple shoes.
This might be a little late – but we’ve got news on Justin Bieber getting hit with a water bottle on-stage at a concert. Most of the stories we do on Justin are based on how much his fans basically worship him, but a while back, one of his fans had a really strange way of showing it. While performing on stage in Sacramento and talking to the crowd, Justin was nailed in the head with a huge water bottle.
