Some of Hollywood’s brightest young stars have joined the fight against cancer with a new public service announcement for Stand Up 2 Cancer.  The PSA shows some of our favorite celebrities running through the odds of doing something – from the unlikely like being struck by lightning or dating a supermodel to the more likely like tripping while texting. It’s all in preparation for the star-studded event that will take place across most networks on September 10th.

This is like the mother of all public service announcements.  And it’s also very cool.

Vanessa Hudgens, Logan Lerman, Zac Efron, Dakota Fanning, Naya Rivera, Clark Duke, Kristen Bell, and more young celebs all teamed up for this new ad for Stand Up to Cancer:

Trivia: the guy saying “for our future” at the end is Andrew Garfield, the new Spider-Man.

Dakota Fanning nabs another magazine cover. This time the Twilight Saga star is the cover girl for the August issue of Flare Magazine. Dakota looks gorgeous as usual in the various photos and we love how open and honest the high school-aged actress is when it comes to the interview portion.

Today we’re chatting all about Dakota Fanning’s cover shoot for Marie Claire.  The actress looks prim and proper on the cover in an ivory and black ensemble, almost schoolgirl-esque with a high collar and bow as well as a suspender type of ribbon-styling.  You can catch more stylish pics and Twilight Saga info when the August issue of Marie Claire hits newsstands mid-July.

Another day, another magazine cover.  Dakota Fanning, who we saw featured on Flare magazine yesterday, also graces the cover of August’s Marie Claire:

In the article, she discusses transforming into Jane for The Twilight Saga:

Given how much actors rely on their eyes to communicate emotion, the contacts were a handicap that might well have unsettled another, less confident performer. “It’s something that’s always been there for me, that I have huge blue eyes — it’s been something that people have always talked about,” Fanning says. “But I enjoyed the red. You’re automatically transformed into a creature when you put those red eyes in.”

Usually, “smoldering” is a term reserved for, say, Taylor Lautner with his shirt off, but it comes to mind with Dakota Fanning’s cover shoot for the new issue of Canada’s Flare magazine.  She looks gorgeous and slightly intimidating!

The ladies of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse hit the black carpet for the world premiere in Los Angeles and they did not disappoint.
