On auditioning: “We just had really good chemistry on screen, so it worked out … she’s amazing.  She can sing, dance, and act.  It’s incredible.”

After the reporter confirms that the two are dating: “Yeah. I get nervous talking about my private life, but it’s hard to deny.  So many photos (laughs).”

He comes across as a really good guy!

Get the details about Hilary Duff’s first official novel.

So yes, one of the true old school Young Hollywood stars is adding author to her industry resume. Hilary Duff just reportedly signed on with publisher Simon and Schuster to take on the world of young adult books. Apparently, her first novel in the series will be all about a jet-setting photojournalist Clea Raymond. According to reports, the 400-plus-page book is titled Elixir and will hit stores on October 12th.

The original material girl is launching a clothing line!

After being inspired by her own trend-setting daughter, Lourdes, who is 13 years old, and a total style maven, Madge is embarking upon a new fashion-forward-feat.

She, along with Lourdes’ help, is creating MG Icon. Of course the MG stands for Material Girl, and we hear the line will be geared towards young women. MG will be hit Macy’s stores in August, and will also include fabulous footwear and accessories. Beauty products and a fragrance are talked-about possibility in the future, as well.

Demi Lovato just revealed to Billy Bush on his radio show that she is, in fact, dating Joe Jonas!  According to People:

The host asked Lovato if she’d ever dated any of the Jonas Brothers, “Umm, maybe,” she said coyly.

“Which one? Joe?” asked Bush, to which Lovato said, “Yeah. He’s actually… he’s my best friend.”

Pressing for clarification, Bush said, “So you guys went from boyfriend-girlfriend to best friends?”

“No kind of the opposite,” the 17-year-old Sonny with a Chance star explained.

“Oh? So you’re dating him now?” asked Bush.

“Umm, yeah he is my best friend and he is incredible,” Lovato finally confessed.

Took her a little while to finally admit it, but she sounds really happy!  Congrats to both of them.

Here’s a monkey wrench thrown in the middle of the possible Nelena reunion.  On a new radio interview noticed by OceanUP, Selena Gomez was asked about the rumor that she’s with Nick Jonas again and responded by saying that she’s “absolutely not dating Nick.”

Usually when stars don’t want to talk about a relationship, they play coy or refuse to answer.  Just a flat-out denial makes me think that whatever was happening isn’t happening anymore.

Or is she just totally lying?

That’s right, Hilary Duff is no longer a single lady. Sorry guys, but somebody liked it and somebody put a ring on it. According to Hilary’s rep, the two got engaged while on a beach vakay in Hawaii.

Apparently, boyfriend of more than two years, hockey player Mike Comrie, took the traditional one-knee kneel on their Maui hotel balcony and popped the big Q. The funny twist on this story is that Duff’s mom reportedly laughed off the rumors, but that’s before the photos showing the diamond ring surfaced.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson weren’t the only young stars at last night’s BAFTA awards.  The Twilight Saga’s Jamie Campbell Bower (Caius) and Harry Potter’s Bonnie Wright (Ginny) also attended, arm in arm.  The duo have been dating since they met on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, where Campbell Bower plays Grindelwald.  Very cute.

Yes, it’s true Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner are apparently totally hooking up! Or at least that’s what we’re hearing.

So at this point, the stories about Brody and Avril getting up close and personal are just rumors, so let’s just break down why speculation about the couple is heating up.

According to a source that’s close to the couple, A and B started quietly seeing each other a few weeks ago. They first ran into each other at Koi, where after dinner, they hopped in the same car and drove over to LA-hot-spot Voyeur together.
