Bailee Madison ventured to the top of the Empire State Building’s world-famous 86th floor Observatory yesterday to promote her new Hallmark Channel movie “Smart Cookies” and National Lemonade Days for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Bailee is in New York attending the Time Warner “Summertime is Cable Time” event at the Yotel Hotel in Time Square. Bailee was recently appointed a member of the ALSF National Advisory Board and currently serves as a Celebrity Spokesman for the organization, which raises money for childhood cancer research. Bailee held a lemonade stand with the PIX 11 Morning News Team to celebrate National Lemonade Days which takes place June 8-10th, click HERE to watch.
In the new movie “Smart Cookies,” which celebrates the 100 year anniversary of the Girl Scouts of the USA, busy real estate agent Julie Sterling, is asked to lead a struggling Girl Scout Troop through their competitive annual cookie drive. Bailee plays an eager new troop member who helps Sterling discover that the bottom line isn’t as important as the friendships she is building with the girls in the troop.
